Portable Charger Review: Which Custom Charger is Best for Your Business?

Portable chargers are the newest tech necessity. In this age of technology, everyone is looking for something quick and convenient to keep their technology functioning throughout the day. PROMOrx has multiple custom portable chargers to choose from. But, which one is best for you and your company? To answer this question, I tested three of our available branded phone chargers. You can find my thoughts on each below.

The first charger that I tested was the 10,400 mAh Power Bank. In terms of capability, it charges twice as fast as the other two (5% in five minutes), because it has a 2V output instead of the typical 1V output. It can fit multiple devices with varying port-types, including the newly added c-port, and it can charge these varying devices simultaneously. In terms of promotional value, this charger has a large brand display, front and center. People will be able to clearly see your business logo. One downside to this charger is its weight and size. The total length is slightly longer than the palm of my hand, and it feels several ounces heavier than the other two chargers. If you are concerned with quality over functionality, then I would recommend the 10,400 mAh Power Bank as it is the quickest of the three.

Charger number two, the Pocket Power Bank, is the thinnest and is therefore very light. With only a USB port, you do not have many charging options to choose from. Although, most standard chargers have at least one USB end. Its charging capability falls at around half that of the 10,400’s, charging around 2.5% in five minutes with a 1V output. With that being said, it is much easier to stow and to carry around with you in your purse or even in your pocket. Your brand is visible on one face of the rectangular charger. The brand space on this device is smaller than that of the 10,400 and that of the JuiceBox Mobile Charger. However, the Pocket Power Bank is also smaller than both chargers. If you are looking for the most portable charger and are willing to sacrifice some time efficiency, this is the charger for you.

The third custom portable charger that I tested was the JuiceBox Mobile Charger. It is slightly larger than the Pocket Power Bank with a larger branding space available. The capabilities of this charger mirror the Pocket Power Bank, with the only difference being size.

Ultimately the 10,400 mAh Power Bank is the better charger, but I feel that the Pocket Power Bank is the most practical choice for people on the go. While the 10,400 is more powerful and offers more branding space, the Pocket Power Bank provides a battery boost from a more portable device. It all comes down to what your business, and your target base, needs.
